About the practice
A therapist who genuinely wants to see your child make progress
I started HK Speech Services because I believe every child deserves a therapist who sees them as a whole person — not just a set of goals on a chart. As someone who worked in the school setting for 7 years, I have seen kids struggle to make progress and be given that 1:1 time that they deserve.

Speech-Language Pathologist
M.S., CCC-SLP · State Licensed · Myo Method Certified
I'm Halle Koehler, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with 7 years of experience supporting ages 4 up to 21 across elementary, middle, and high school settings. I've had the privilege of working with students at every stage of development — from early sound errors to the more complex communication demands of adolescence.
In addition to my work in speech and language, I've completed the Myo Method Course in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, which allows me to address the underlying muscle patterns that can affect breathing, swallowing, and speech. It's an area I'm deeply passionate about and one that makes a real difference for many of my clients.
My approach is collaborative, evidence-based, and always centered on the individual. Whether I'm working with a 4-year-old on their first sounds or a teenager building confidence in conversation, my goal is the same: to make every person feel seen, supported, and capable.
My approach
What guides every session
Child-led
Sessions follow your child's interests and energy. When children are engaged, they learn faster and retain more.
Family-centered
Parents are partners, not bystanders. I listen to your concerns and provide strategies you can use every day to reinforce progress at home.
Evidence-based
Every technique I use is grounded in current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Celebratory
Progress is progress, no matter how small. We celebrate every milestone — because each one matters.
